This article describes the enhancements and changes to Mondial CRx which have been included in the 07-31-2022 release (deployed to customers on 08-08-2022).
List of Key Enhancements/Changes
Report Writer
- Error checking improvements have been made to ensure that all mandatory report writer parameters are set before creating a new report. Error messages are now displayed when a report parameter is not defined.
- Previously, when a report was generated to screen, the report was displayed on a new tab with the generic name "Generated Report - Mondial CRx." Improvements have been made to ensure that the name of a report generated on the screen is displayed as the tab name.
Enterprise Set-Up
- Audit checking improvements have been made to the Chart of Accounts function to ensure that all accounts imported from underlying accounting systems are mapped to alternate accounts established in Mondial. If any 'natural' accounts are not mapped to an alternate account set, a notification is displayed.
- Similarly, audit checking improvements have been made to ensure all ledgers established in Mondial are associated with an FX type. If any accounts included within Mondial ledgers are not mapped to an FX type, a notification is displayed.
Note
Be on the lookout for a red bell icon on top of the Chart of Accounts icon.

This icon indicates that some of the natural accounts set have not been mapped to an alternate account and/or some of the ledgers are not associated with an FX type.
Miscellaneous
- Previously, some browsers like Chrome and Edge did not have visible, working scroll bars. Scroll bars across all browsers have been improved.
- Alternate account upload failure issues encountered have been addressed.
- The redundant option to generate reports to "Table" has been removed.
Speed Optimization
- A chart of account optimization, introduced in the June 2022 release, has now been applied to the trial balance and detailed trial balance templated reports. This has significantly improved report generation and rendering speeds.
