Release Summary

This article describes the changes and enhancements that have been included in the Mondial CRx 31-12-2021 release.

Key Enhancements

Report Writer

Ledger Type Override

You can now use a ledger override for a specific column in Column Layouts. This will allow the selection of a ledger type for a specific column whereupon data in the column (where the override has been applied) will be filtered in line with the selected ledger type. The Ledger Type specified for the column will be applied in place of the Ledger type selected at report run time.

Column Layout Filter Support for Alternate Account Sets

Account Segment Filter of the Column Layout is now able to work with Alternate Account Sets, as referenced by the Reporting Set chosen when the report is generated.

Report Re-ordering

With this new change, you can drag to re-order the list of reports e.g. you can drag a report from #10 to #3.

Templated Reports

A new report, Detailed Trial Balance has been added to the list of available reports. The detailed trial balance displays; the opening balance, debits, credits, and closing trial balance.

General Reporting

Output Terminology Change

This update changes the terminology on the Standard Reports and Report Writer output commands. In both Templated and Report Writer Reports, the "Web" output command has been changed to "Screen".

Miscellaneous Changes

Languages Update

Menus and pages can now be displayed in different languages. The following languages are available:

English: Canada
English: US
Spanish: US
Chinese: Simplified.

Language settings can be changed in the User Settings Options under Enterprise Setup.

Map Source System Transactions to Different Ledgers

Mondial CRx can now support transaction-level integration to ERP systems that are already multi-ledger.

Ledger Selection

Ledgers are now available for selection as an option under Templated Reports and Report Writer.

Transactions to Newly Created Ledger

This feature, provided using Mondial support, allows for existing transactions to be assigned to a newly created ledger.

Bug Fixes

Issues with the SUM function under Row Formats have been fixed.
An issue with the drill-down functionality that resulted in the display of incorrect figures as a result of the drill-down showing many accounts has been resolved.
A currency translation issue that resulted in a wrong display of the total has been resolved.
